What is TokKul used for? ›

TokKul is the currency of Mor Ul Rek. It is made from obsidian and cannot be created by players. As it is a currency, TokKul dropped by monsters can be automatically collected if the player is wearing a ring of wealth. TokKul is precious to us; why want you to trade it to someone else?

It can be purchased from TzHaar-Hur-Lek's Ore and Gem Store for 300,000 Tokkul (or 260,000 with any pair of Karamja gloves). A common method to obtain this Tokkul as an Ironman involves selling chaos runes to TzHaar-Mej-Roh's Rune Store; this requires 28,889 chaos runes or 14,445 death runes with Karamja gloves.

The ring must have at least one charge to be able to teleport, although teleporting does not use any charges. An uncharged ring does not have the teleport option and must be recharged to regain the teleport ability. The teleport cannot be used in combat.

Tokkul is the currency to a city called Tz-Haar. Each tokkul is roughly equivalent to 15-17 gp each. Tokkul is untradable. It is obtained by the local Tzhaar monsters roaming around the city, or selling items in one of the 3 shops, ore/gem shop, armour/weapon shop, and rune shop.

Obsidian platelegs are a piece of the obsidian armour set and can be purchased in TzHaar-Hur-Zal's Equipment Store for 100,500 Tokkul (87,100 with Karamja gloves). It requires level 60 in Defence to wear.

Price history

The price of an uncut onyx was therefore tied to the prices of items used to obtain it, such as chaos runes and death runes (of which it took 33,333 and 16,666, respectively, to earn the required tokkul for an uncut onyx).

In fact, natural black onyxes are so rare that most of the pieces sold today are actually grey chalcedonies that have been heat-treated to develop the required hue. However, they share the same chemical structure as natural black onyxes and therefore are 100% real.

The TokKul-Zo ring offers 10% damage increase and is the best-in-slot ring for the TzekHaar. This ring does not work on Zuk. Bring a DPS ring switch for the Zuk fight: Reaver's ring, Channeller's ring, Stalker's ring, Ring of death, etc.

How to repair TokKul-Zo? ›

The ring can be recharged by paying either TzHaar-Mej-Jeh or TzHaar-Mej-Ak 50,000 Tokkul for a completely depleted ring. This works out to be 12.5 Tokkul per missing charge.

The Dragonfire shield is unique in terms of Defence it gives. When it's "uncharged", it is tradeable and offers slightly more defences than a mithril sq shield. However, when fully charged, it is one of the best shields in the game.

Tokkul, also known as Tokkle, is a location in Final Fantasy III found at the southern end of the Floating Continent. Most residents will run away in fear if approached. The elder in the house on the north end of town explains that soldiers from Castle Argus recently attacked, so people have been on their guard.

A coffer filled with the donated remains of dead TzHaar. A Coffer of TokKul is located near the hot vent door that leads into the Fight Cauldron's arena. Players may donate TokKul for a temporary increase to the damage reduction of obsidian armour when fighting TzHaar or TokHaar.

The obsidian cape is made from slivers of interlinked obsidian and enchanted with TzHaar magic, like all TzHaar equipment. It can be bought from TzHaar-Hur-Tel's Equipment Store in TzHaar City for the price of 90,000 Tokkul, and is also dropped by some of the monsters in TzHaar City.
