Hailey V. Russo and Robert S. Russo
Owners
Hailey and Robert were both raised in Vermilion Parish–Hailey in Kaplan, and Robert in Abbeville. They are both graduates of Vermilion Catholic High School (class of 2009 and class of 2008).
Hailey graduated from Louisiana State University in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in public relations and a bachelor's degree in French. Upon graduation, she worked in public relations and marketing for almost 10 years before deciding to join her family at Vincent Funeral Home. She is currently studying to obtain her funeral director's license under the leadership of the staff, and plans to continue her parents’ and grandfather’s legacy of high-quality service and care for the Vermilion Parish community.
Robert has a bachelor's degree in geology from University of Louisiana at Lafayette. While he does not currently work full-time in the business, he is also a licensed funeral director and embalmer and helps when in need. Robert and Hailey live in Abbeville and have two children, Tripp and Evelyn.
Dawn F. Vincent
CFO
Dawn was born and raised in Kaplan, Louisiana. She graduated from Kaplan High School in 1987. After graduation she attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana. In 1988 Dawn attended Texas School of Business and graduated in 1989. She began her career with Vincent Funeral Home in October 1989. She obtained her Class C (life, health and accident) insurance license in February 1990 and became a Notary Public in 1993. In June of 2011, she graduated with honors and distinction from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service obtaining her certificate in funeral directing. After attaining academic distinction, Dawn received membership by invitation to the National Funeral Service Honor Society.
Dwayne Solis
Funeral Director and Manager - Abbeville
Dwayne was born and raised in Lafayette, LA, graduating from Northside High School in 1989. He moved to Abbeville in 1998 where he began working for Vincent Funeral Home. He is a graduate of Commonwealth College of Houston, TX with a degree in Applied Science. Dwayne is a licensed insurance agent and specializes in funeral policies and prearranged funerals. Dwayne is married to the former Nancy Frederick and they have one daughter. He is a member of the Southwest Louisiana Funeral Directors Association and the Louisiana Funeral Directors Association. His hobbies include camping, woodworking, fishing and cooking for friends and family.
Cade Landry
Funeral Director and Manager - Kaplan, Gueydan
Cade is a native of Delcambre, Louisiana and a 2008 graduate of Delcambre High School. He began working for Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan in May 2013. He graduated from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in 2015 with honors, where he earned an associate of applied science degree. He was also the 2014 recipient for the Gerald M. Robbins Scholarship. He is a member of both the Southwest Louisiana Funeral Directors Association and the Louisiana Funeral Directors Association. His hobbies include cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Eric Marceaux
Funeral Director - Kaplan, Gueydan
Eric is a native of Kaplan, Louisiana and a 1995 graduate of Kaplan High School. After graduation he attended McNeese State University then went on to graduate with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Funeral Service from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, Texas. He became a licensed funeral director and embalmer in December 2000 and began his employment with Vincent Funeral Home. Eric and his wife, Tracey, have two children and currently reside in Kaplan. He is a member of the Southwest Louisiana Directors Association and the Louisiana Funeral Directors Association. His hobbies include raising show pigs, playing golf, and spending time with his family and friends.
Ryan Sherman
Funeral Director - Kaplan, Gueydan
Ryan is a native of Kaplan, Louisiana and a 2000 graduate of Kaplan High School. After graduation he attended Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, Texas and graduated in 2001. In June 2003, he obtained his funeral director's license and began employment with Vincent Funeral Home. Ryan and his wife, Jessica, have two daughters and currently reside in Kaplan. Ryan is a member of the Southwest Louisiana Directors Association, the Louisiana Funeral Directors Association, and the Vermilion Parish Cattleman's Association. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, raising cattle, and spending time with family and friends.
Eddie Williams
Funeral Director - Kaplan, Gueydan
Eddie is a native of Lafayette, LA. He graduated from the Commonwealth Instituteof Funeral Services in Houston, TX in 2008, and has been working with Vincent Funeral Home since 2020. He is a member of the Southwest Louisiana Directors Association, as well as the Louisiana Funeral DirectorsAssociation. Eddie currently resides in Scott, LA with his girlfriend Molly, and his hobbies include spending time in the garden, traveling the country, playing live music and spinning records for friends and family. Above all else, he enjoys the reward from helping the community when they need it the most.
Cole Schexnayder
Funeral Director - Abbeville
Cole is a native of Erath and 2000 graduate of Erath High School. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Iraq with the 256th Infantry brigade. He graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, where he received a degree in mortuary science. He is a member of Sigma Phi Sigma an academic fraternal organization. In 2007 Cole returned to Abbeville to complete his internship with Vincent Funeral Home. His hobbies include fishing, hunting, riding cutting horses, and visiting with friends and family.
Robert D. Babineaux
Funeral Director - Abbeville
Robert is a native of New Iberia, LA, and currently a resident of Lafayette, LA. He is the proud father of two children and two grandsons. He is married to Vicki Braquet of Lafayette, LA.
Robert is a graduate of Commonwealth College of Funeral Service, Houston, TX. He has been a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer since 1988. He has served as the Past President of the Southwest Funeral Directors Association, Past President of the Louisiana Funeral Directors Association, and was a member of the National Funeral Directors Association Policy Board for 6 years. In 2003, Robert was the recipient of the C.A. Charlet Funeral Director of the Year Award.
Robert likes to cook in his spare time. He also enjoys hunting and fishing.
Sharla Broussard
Office Manager - Abbeville
Sharla was born and raised in Abbeville. She is a 1983 Graduate of Abbeville High School and received her associate degree in computerized accounting from Southern Tech College. Sharla is married to Randall Broussard and they have two daughters. After marrying she then followed her husband in his military career living in Oklahoma and Germany. Later returning to her hometown to raise her own family and to be closer to family. In 2004 she was hired on as office manager for Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville. Sharla finds her job rewarding helping families in their time of need. She keeps busy with her family, loves to travel, and enjoys reading and watching movies.
