Of Natick, passed away on October 29, 2021. Beloved husband of Sandra J. (Long) Harding of Natick. Predeceased by his late wife Anne (Rouse) Harding. Devoted father of Lawrence M. Harding and his wife Lynne of Annapolis MD, and Elizabeth Paluzzi and her husband Joseph of Braintree. Loving grandfather of Tim, Meaghan, and Claire Harding, and Olivia and Christina Paluzzi. Dear brother of Paul Harding and Barbara Colbert of West Roxbury. Blessed as well in his role as step father / grandfather to Susanne Nystrom and her children Robert and Sophie of Holliston, Shawn Stuart, his wife Faith and their children Tori and Michael of Meredith NH, and Maxine Aronofsky of Marlborough.

After graduating from Boston College in 1959, Larry served in the US Army, then spent the vast majority of his professional career as a Sales Representative for Symmons Industries in Braintree MA, a manufacturer of shower and control valves, faucets, and other plumbing supplies and equipment. A resident of Natick for nearly 60 years, “Duke” as he was also known as was an ardent supporter of the New York Football Giants and the Boston College Eagles. He was a long-time pitching coach for the Natick High School baseball team, Pop Warner football coach for a time, and served for more than four decades as Head Coach of the Natick Little League Tigers farm team. Family was always first, but coaching, working with, getting to know, and genuinely liking and interacting with kids was his life’s passion. Other interests included summer trips to West Dennis on Cape Cod, winter trips to Ft. Lauderdale FL, and any chance at all to visit his extended family of grandkids in Annapolis, Braintree, Holliston or Meredith.

Funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, NATICK COMMON, Friday, November 5th at 9:00am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Linus Church, 119 Hartford Street, Natick at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery, Natick. Visiting Hours Thursday, November 4th from 4:00 to 8:00pm.
