Hey, foodies!! Everybody ready for the big game? I have to admit, I'm not exactlyall that big intosports. In fact, those of you who know me well are probably still trying to see properly again afteryour epic eye-roll. However!
There is one day of the year where I make an exception: Super Bowl Sunday. Well, to be clear, I still don't really care about the game, per se, but I LOVE a good party (also known as: any excuse to make and eat appetizers in place of dinner), even if it's just me and the hubs (which, these days it usually is).
It's pretty great, we make lots of fun food and play board games (not unlike our New Year's Eve bash for two - living that parent life) and basically look up at the Super Bowl (or in my case, the commercials) every now and again in between.
I get almost as much joy from planning it as I do from eating the apps (don't give me that look, I said almost!), but as I'm sure most of you can attest, those game day yums are generally not all that good for you. But, good news!
No more do you need to sacrifice ANY of your hard work for one, albeit awesome, evening of food and friends.
