The reason she made this trellis so large is that she planted jasmine in her yard flowing through the tall and arrowhead-designed trellis. What a good idea! And I heard jasmine makes your whole yard smell good, and look good too!
DIY Trellis For Climbing Fruits & Veggies

Cool as a cucumber and one in a melon, this climbing DIY project will have you feeling on the “top” of the world…or the trellis. If you didn’t already know this, zucchini, squash, melons, and cucumber plants all grow on vines. When you add a trellis to the mix, not only does your garden look more aesthetically pleasing, but the plants benefit too from having more space to grow, and more air. This is extremely easy to build, too! All you need is two identical frames, connected with wire and that’s it. If you want to customize it more, paint it, decorate it, etc you can… however, it looks good standing on its own when the plants start to come up. Cucumber Trellis DIY

How cute-cumber is this cucumber arch trellis? Not only does it look good, but its design is utilized for maximum harvesting. She explains how the arch design works best because it makes the cucumbers hang down and out of the foliage so that they don’t get lost and are easy to spot. If you have a garden fence, wire twist ties, and wire cutter, you’ll make this in less than an hour, and cheaply too! Plus, cucumbers aren’t the only thing that can benefit from the arches. Radishes, carrots, and zucchini have been shown to thrive with this design as well. What a great design!

Let’s face it, I’ve had way too much screen time this summer. With all of the Bravo real housewives, roses to give phone time, and time blogging, I’m surprised my eyes aren’t burning red and watering all the time. This can do more than just sprout your favorite plants, too. It’s so tall, and the screen can hide any parts of your yard you want hidden, and spruce things right up just by being there. I love how her giant potted plant matches her trellis screen, and the reddish clay color she chose to stain it. This is big, bold, and beautiful, and my eyes love looking at it a lot more than my iPad

I saw a moment to squeeze Dave Matthews Band into this, and I had to run with it. This is a perfect trellis for any spaces between anything in your house against the trim, or in your yard. It’s modern with its light-colored wood, there is plenty of space between the pieces of cedar, and it can be squeezed into any place you see fit due to the neutral color and stature, kinda like Dave Matthews
The other thing I love so much about this is how easy it is to create, especially with the turnout being so elegant and modern, perfect for plants to grow throughout. All you need for this is cedar lumber, wood screws, and primer. Perfect project for a beginner, and perfect for a space between lovers like me!
Rustic Garden Trellis

I’ve been really busy the last few months and asked my husband to kind of “take over the garden” this summer.. Big mistake, and just another prime example of the whole “if you want something done right, do it yourself” thing. Things were scattered, not much grew, and the things that did weren’t alive long. Is there anything better than a modern look? I don’t care if we are talking, about clothing, house decor, haircuts, etc… modern is best. This modern DIY trellis is stunning, and plays the modern part perfectly! First of all, check out those gorgeous smoky brown colored gigantic raised planter boxes below the modernly white trellis: the two make an absolute PERFECT pair! I love how the brown color almost shows off the white color, and how the white screen-like trellis colors the entirety of a portion of the house trim. Not only does she show you how to easily and perfectly create a chevron trellis, but she does it in more than just the backyard… There is so much creativity here! She creates a chevron lattice trellis surrounding a potted plant inside, executes it to hold the place of decor in a home, and also shows you how to create two trellises centered with a giant trellis in the yard for optimal gorgeousness! She uses a standard design and presents pictures as well as directions and a materials list (that is less than 10, but the way) and something that you’d think would be SO complicated is made simple, just like that. I love this creativity!

I wouldn’t dare forget those of us who live in a brick house, a trellis looks good anywhere! I love this project because I love the “live plants growing on a house look.” Plus, this could not be easier to create. Put your design on paper, mark it on the brick, put drill bits in, put a masonry anchor into each hole, and repeat until your design is complete, and there you have it! I love the way her design is scattered, but she has the leaves overlapping in a way that looks like it could not have been planned better. You’ll sh** a brick over this design!

My definition of poor: is when you have too many months at the end of your money. Let’s face it, I’m not (as Fergie says) G L A M O R O U S, and I completely understand that for most of us spending a ton of money on tools and materials for something like a trellis just is not fit for our checking accounts. Lucky for us, DIY garden trellis projects like this exist!
This stunning and practical trellis can be made for just FIVE dollars. With 4 1×2 boards that you can get at any Home Depot, brad nails, a brad nailer, and a miter saw, you can have your very own wooden square-designed trellis that plants OR veggies can grow off of! It looks like any other more expensive trellis and you would never know that it’s essentially made from scraps. I’m one step away from being rich, all I need now is money!

Instead of being on one side of the fence or the other… No need to choose sides. Why don’t we make a trellis out of the fence and watch beautiful things bloom? I absolutely love this creatively unique idea! If you already have a fence in place, this project automatically becomes cheap, versatile, and extremely easy to assemble. With string lines, wire mesh, and brackets, you can design your own trellis within the exterior of the fence easily! The before and after picture is gorgeous, and there are plants or veggies that could grow nicely on it.

It doesn’t get much cheaper, or rustic than this trellis made out of twigs and twine! As far as saving money goes… The entire exterior of this is made out of branches, and twigs. Have woods near you? Then it’s free! Plus, how awesome is this turnout? It doesn’t look cheap at all, and covered in plants the turnout would be absolutely stunning, not to mention natural! This is a smaller trellis and would fit perfectly in a smaller garden or up against a house as she has in the tutorial. A very cute and easy DIY summer project for the yard for sure!

This is THE project of the summer for a busy mommy… it’s small to fit a small garden, because who has time for the giant ones. It’s inexpensive, because we have too many summer activities already breaking the bank, and it’s a quick project… Because ain’t nobody got time for that!
I’m obsessed with this little trellis. My only garden currently is on my front lawn, and it’s a small space… like I’m sure a lot of ours are. This wired stick design trellis completes a garden and almost makes a small fence around it. It can keep larger animals out, it’s a creative and unique design, and it gives a garden the pop of pizzaz that says “I’m good at this gardening thing.” What a MOMumental DIY project for the summer!
