How To Give Online

This page provides a quick overview of how to use Online Giving.  It explains:
  • First time registration/login (setting up your online account)
  • Giving online and selecting a fund(s) to donate to
  • How to setup and initiate recurring payments (Auto-Tithe)
  • Viewing your giving history

First Time Access/Login


Access Online Giving
After clicking on the "Click here to give online" button located in the top right hand corner of the Online Giving page, a popup screen like the one seen at the right appears.

  • If this is the first time you are accessing Online Giving, click “First Time” to register.
  • Enter your email address (this will be your "user name") and a password. PLEASE NOTE:  The password you choose must be at least 5 characters in length and must contain both letters (small case or capitals) and numbers.  Jot it down so you do not forget it!
  • If you are already registered, skip down to the section entitled "How To Give Online.
  • If you forget your password, click “Forgot Password” and follow the instructions.

Setting Up Your Account


Register
  • Enter your information including a valid email address and password.
  • From now on, each time you access Online Giving, you will be prompted for your User Name (email address) and the password you setup.

How To Give Online

Using A Credit/Debit Card
You may donate anytime by using a credit/debit card.
Simply follow the steps outlined below.

  • After you are logged in you will automatically be taken to the "Tithe" screen similar to the one at the right.
  • Select a fund from the drop down list and enter an amount.
  • Use the drop down menu to select a card type.  Cards excepted are Visa, MasterCard, and Bank Debit Cards.
  • You can designate multiple funds if you wish.  Just click + Add Another Fund.
In the example to the right, we are making a donation to the General Operating Fund for a total of $25.00.

Auto-Tithe
(also referred to as Recurring Giving)


Using a Credit Card/Debit Card
You can establish a schedule of automatic giving using your credit/debit card.  Once established, the donations will recur automatically.  The schedule frequencies are:
  • Monthly (1st of month)
  • Monthly (16th of month)
  • Twice per month (1st & 16th)
  • Twice per month (5th & 20th)
  • Weekly (Every Sunday)

To setup, follow these steps:
  • After you are logged, if not already there, click on the menu option labeled Auto-Tithe.
  • Select a fund from the drop down list and enter the desired amount.
  • Select the frequency, start date, and the number of installments.
Note concerning scheduled donations: Once you define your method of donation (credit or debit card) that method is used for all scheduled donations.

Confirm Auto-Tithe
  • After you have setup your scheduled giving, click Activate Auto-Tithe at the bottom of the screen.
  • A confirmation will display.  It will tell you how many installments are left and when the first installment is scheduled to process.
  • Also, after activating Auto-Tithe, you will notice, near the bottom of the screen, options to either create an additional schedule or deactivate the current schedule.

History



View Giving History

You can view or print your giving history at anytime by clicking on the View History tab. If you have not submitted any transactions, your history will look similar to the example on the right.
